From Auschwitz to
Ambleside

This large scale digital video and sound installation was exhibited in Kendal Town Hall on 26 January 2007 and explored the processes of remembrance by following the journey of child survivors of the Holocaust who were evacuated to the Lake District in 1945.

A smaller scale version of the exhibition was exhibited at the Lakes School, Windermere during January and February 2008 and at the Ormsgill Family Centre, Barrow-in-Furness in April 2008.

A collaboration between Trevor Avery, Chris Atkins, Denise Neild, Gill White and Rosemary Smith.
