Jan Goldberger was born in Bielsko, Poland, in 1927.
His experiences included internment in Plaszow, Skarzysko-Kamienna, Buchenwald and Schlieben camps. He was liberated from Theresienstadt in May 1945, and came to Windermere in August 1945.
