Jack Aizenberg was born in Staszow, Poland, in 1928.
He survived incarceration in the Staszow Ghetto, Kielce, Buchenwald, Colditz and Theresienstadt camps. He was liberated in May 1945, and arrived in Windermere in August 1945.
