From Auschwitz to Ambleside

This video, photography and sound installation explores the processes of remembrance by following the journey of child survivors of the Holocaust who were evacuated to the Lake District in 1945.

The artists visited Auschwitz and Plasow in Poland, Prague and Terezin (Theresienstadt ghetto) in the Czech Republic, as well as Windermere, Ambleside and Troutbeck in the Lake District of the UK.
